Three friends — a ceramics enthusiast, a developer, and a sales professional — sat down to chat. Amid anecdotes and laughter, we realized something obvious: the ceramics community, so close-knit and friendly, didn't have its own little online haven to share. 'Why not create one?' we thought. And that's how it all began!In January 2024, we started shaping the idea and, together, brought Smalted to life. Our mission is simple: to offer a space that transcends physical barriers, where you can ask questions, share, be inspired, and connect with people who share your passion. Xavi is our programmer and digital craftsman. He brought Smalted to life by writing the very first line of code in January 2024 and continues to perfect it to this day.
